Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision for people seeking LCSW or LPC licensure in Pennsylvania. As in my therapy sessions, I ask that you come as you are—messy, marvelous, and everything in between! Please contact me to discuss your needs and areas of professional interest.

My rate is $60/hour, with two reduced-fee supervision spaces reserved for those in need. Please contact me about the availability of those spaces.

Core Purposes of Clinical Supervision

• Protect Public Safety: Monitors your clinical decisions to ensure clients receive safe, effective, and evidence-based care.

• Develop Competence: Refines your diagnostic skills, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention techniques.

• Maintain Ethical Boundaries: Helps navigate complex situations, legal mandates (like Mandated Reporting), and conflicts of interest.

• Prevent Professional Burnout: Provides emotional support and coping strategies to process secondary traumatic stress.

What Occurs in Sessions

• Case Consultations: Reviewing specific, anonymized client cases to analyze underlying dynamics and brainstorm treatment adjustments.

• Self-Reflective Dialogue: Examining countertransference—how your personal history or emotions might impact your therapeutic relationships.

• Role-Playing: Practicing challenging clinical scenarios, such as boundary setting, crisis interventions, or delivering tough feedback.

• Skill Evaluation: Receiving objective feedback on your clinical performance, documentation quality, and diagnostic accuracy.
